🔹 Visiting the palace, Dolma Bahja
Dolmabahçe Palace is located on the European side of the Bosphorus Strait in the Besiktas district of Istanbul. The palace can only be visited by a specialized tour guide, and it is not allowed to take pictures inside it. The palace was built during the reign of Sultan Abdul Majeed to change from the classic Topkapi Palace due to its lack of contemporary style and luxurious style. Dolmabahçe Palace was considered the center of government and residence for six sultans.
